VIDEO CRITIQUE
Submissions Due: Sunday, March 3, 2024
We are so excited to provide a great opportunity to IIMA performing units. For $25 per ensemble, directors have the opportunity to submit a rehearsal or performance video for constructive feedback from an adjudicator that would not normally be able to travel to our circuit. We value the perspective and insight from people that travel to judge a large variety of indoor performances throughout the season. If they can’t come to us in person– we want to connect our guards, percussionists and musicians with them virtually!
IIMA will be recording performances at the IIMA Grinnell event. Directors may choose to submit that recording, or their own recording from rehearsal or another performance.
Submissions will be due Sunday, March 3. 2024. Judge’s will send their feedback to directors by Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

VIRTUAL JUDGE’S OFFICE HOURS

We are offering a virtual video session with adjudicators on Monday night after the Marion show. You can sign up for a time to speak with them and ask questions regarding the activity. Any topic is welcome- ask about your show, about judging/competition sheets, about your costumes, about recruiting. You’ll have 15mins and can send a video ahead of time or just have a conversation. This opportunity is provided for free by IIMA for all ensembles registered to participate in IIMA Marion.
